Velvet Caviar Holo Moonstone iPhone Case

I was looking for a new phone case on Amazon and I stumbled upon the brand Velvet Caviar, OMG I'm sooo obsessed. They have the prettiest phone cases ever and they claim to be drop test certified, the hardest part was deciding which case to buy. I went with the Holo Moonstone color because I'm a sucker for holographic things and it beckoned me with its shininess. I also went ahead and purchased the matching ring holder.

This was probably the most expensive case I have ever bought for a phone at $30 but I needed to find a sturdy case for my iPhone that was both cute and protective. I really liked that the inside is made out of felt so that it wouldn't scratch the back of the phone. Honestly this is probably the best case I have ever bought in all my case buying years (which is a lot).

The case is matte and it is really smooth, which might pose a problem of accidentally having it slip from your hands. I'm very careful so it hasn't happened to me yet (knock on wood), I did purchase the key ring holder so I feel that it makes it more secure to hold. I have only purchased PopSockets in the past and this was my first time using a ring holder but I'm not sure I like it more than I do PopSockets. It serves it's function and it is really stuck on tight to the case so I don't think I would be able to pry it off to exchange it for a PopSocket.

I'm totally living for this case, it's so pretty and I get a lot of compliments on it all the time. It also has protected my phone a couple time from some drops. If you like holographic stuff just like me you will totally fall in love with this case too.

I went to TJ Maxx looking for makeup and I found this Vegas Nay Blush Set, the packaging looked really pretty and it came with a blush brush. The best part of all was that it was only $4.99 so I had to buy it.

The colors are very pigmented and it was definitely a steal for $4.99, it never hurts to browse around your local TJ Maxx to see what you can find.

BH Cosmetics Haul

I was looking for a good makeup brush set after my old trusty and reliable Real Techniques brushes started to fall apart. I stumbled upon BH Cosmetics, I had never bought anything from this brand before but I always saw their eyeshadow palettes on Instagram. I really wasn't sure how great the quality would be for their face brushes. On their website, I noticed that they had a lot of sales going on and also included a free gift with purchase so I was excited. I ended up choosing the Marble Luxe 10 Piece Brush Set  which was a 50% off deal that day. I just loved the way it looked, so luxurious and the rose gold and marble color looked beautiful.

Gucci Belt Bag Dupe

I recently did a 12 day trip to Greece (blog post coming soon) and before my trip I was looking to buy a belt bag that would keep my items secure from pick pockets and in front of me at all times. 

I wanted a cute fashion bag that would be small enough to not get in the way and big enough to fit my phone and other essential things. I really liked the Gucci Matelasse Belt Bags but I could not justify spending that much money on a belt bag, therefore I went on the hunt for a similar looking bag on Amazon.

I went on a Contiki to London and Paris Part 1

So a couple of months ago I went on my very first trip to Europe, I went on a Contiki trip going to London and Paris. I had wanted to do a Contiki trip ever since I graduated University, but I never had the funds to do one until this year. I had heard of the reputation of Contiki prior to booking my trip, that it was mostly full of people who liked to drink and party especially on the trips to Europe because it caters to the younger crowd. I wasn't super nervous about going on the trip since I was going with my Boyfriend, if I was a solo traveler I would probably have been having a panic attack since I'm super introverted and I'm terrible at meeting new people.

Going to London

I was flying out of Los Angeles, CA so the flight to London was about 10.5 hours, since I have previously flown to South Korea which is like a 13.5 hour flight I didn't really mind the duration of this flight to london. The only thing that I was nervous about flying into London was how I was going to make my way to the hotel, since Contiki does not send a rep to go and pick you up from the airport. My boyfriend and I decided to take the Tube to the hotel since it would be the cheapest and fastest method to use, and it was surprisingly very easy to use.
